Please note this position may also be filled by an Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker as per the attached Role Description.The Role An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Forensic Community Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will Deliver clinical services aimed at maintaining optimal level of consumer functioningProvide delivery of care in a variety of hospital and community settings including at external venues, consumers homesApply professional knowledge and skills in clinical decision making under the practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinicianContribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff in consultation with the support of senior clinical staff About you To be successful in this position you will require: A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalentRegistration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of AustraliaCredentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses, or be prepared to work towards a credentialA graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirableDriver LicenceEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingInterstate/International candidates may be for the – up $20,000!
