The Clinical Nurse/Midwife Specialist Grade 2 (CN/MS2) is a Registered Nurse/Midwife who applies a high level of clinical nursing knowledge, experience and skills in providing complex nursing/midwifery care directed towards a specific area of practice, a defined population or defined service area, with minimum direct supervision.The CNS2 role possesses a high level of autonomy and clinical leadership, ensuring the patient will have prompt access to specialist Drug & Alcohol care &/or referral to the most appropriate care pathway. The CNS2 is also part of the team to engage patients in Point of Care Testing (POCT) within Drug and Alcohol to assist with treatment of Hepatitis CYour role as CNS2 will see you provide a holistic view which is culturally responsive, safe, compassionate, person centred care that is in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
