The Department
Nursing Services oversees the professional governance and practice standards of the Nursing workforce at Alfred Health. Nursing services oversee a range of professional issues including Professional Standards and codes of conduct, nursing research, scope of practice, quality systems relevant to nursing practice, education and training, and workforce development and sustainability. Nursing Services oversee the Nursing Education and Nursing Workforce teams. Nursing Services is responsible for developing the Nursing Professional Practice Framework which is an essential reference for nurses working in clinical practice, education, management or nursing research.
The Position Summary
The Data Analytics Manager-Nursing is a professional and clinical leader in Nursing Services and plays a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives. The primary purpose of this role is to develop, coordinate, and manage nursing workforce data analysis initiatives, activities, reporting and solutions. The Data Analytics Manager-Nursing, supports Nursing Services and other stakeholders, when undertaking strategic nursing workforce planning, modelling, predictive analytics and auditing.
