We are seeking a passionate and experienced Emergency Nurse Team Leader to join our dynamic team and lead our emergency nursing staff. Position Overview As the Emergency Nurse Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the emergency nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for providing leadership, support, and guidance to our nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring efficient workflow within the emergency department. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the emergency nursing team, including roster management, performance evaluation, and professional development. Coordinate and prioritize patient care to ensure timely and effective delivery of emergency nursing services. Provide hands-on nursing care to patients during high-volume periods or complex cases. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with veterinarians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Act as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, facilitating ongoing education and training initiatives. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of emergency nursing practice. About You Cert IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency and critical care nursing, with demonstrated leadership experience. Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
