GEGAC is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation based on Gunaikurnai Country in Bairnsdale, Victoria. Consisting of about 160 staff, GEGAC is a Not for Profit organisation that delivers holistic services in the areas of Primary Health, Social Services, Elders & Disability and Early Childhood Education.

Position Purpose
As the Healthcare Revenue, Development, and Donor Relations Coordinator, you'll lead efforts to ensure the financial sustainability of our healthcare programs while fostering crucial relationships with donors and community partners. Your responsibilities span clinical coding and revenue administration, economic growth and grant writing, donor relations, and community engagement.
In clinical coding and revenue management, you'll ensure accurate coding, contributing to revenue optimisation and compliance with Australian standards. In development and grant writing, your focus will be cultivating donor relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and diversifying funding sources to support our purpose-driven work. Additionally, you'll oversee donor communications and events, fostering meaningful engagement and appreciation for donor support.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise in coding, strategic thinking in fundraising, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively support our healthcare initiatives and build enduring partnerships within our community.
