We are seeking applications from people who would be interested to join our team as Cleaners. The objectives of the Cleaning Services at the Hospital and Specified Health Facilities is to provide all ACT health staff and their clients with an environment that is tidy and visually and hygienically clean at all times.The outcomes of the Services are to: enhance the comfort and morale of the patients;maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff;maintain a microbiologically safe environment for patient care; andpresent an inviting environment for visitors and members of the public. These services are to be undertaken with minimal disruption to hospital routines or patients.Shifts We Can Offer: Multiple Casual/Part-Time/ Full-Time ShiftsMorning and Afternoon Shifts What You Will Be Doing: Carrying out general cleaning within the siteOperating cleaning machineryAdhering to all OH&S policies and proceduresMaintenance of cleaning records and compliance standardsDelivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers Criteria: Experience in cleaning operations; commercialMust be physically fit to meet cleaning duties.Professional presentation and customer service Please note that prior to commencement, successful candidates will be required to: Comply with Canberra Health Services Screening and Vaccination policyUndergo a pre-employment National Police Check Must register under the Working with Vulnerable People Act 2011.
