This role is Full-Time and located at our global head office in the South Brisbane business precinct, offering a hybrid working model (mix of office and WFH). Who are we?

Reporting to our Head of Legal & Company Secretary and working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel, you will primarily provide legal support in the areas of property law, commercial law, regulatory compliance, risk management, and legal research and analysis. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.



Key responsibilities include:

Manage leases and contracts, ensuring compliance.

Negotiate lease terms and handle property-related matters.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.

Support corporate transactions and provide legal advice.

Assist with board support and corporate governance.

Ensure legal compliance and advise on implications.

About you:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (or equivalent), current Australian Practicing Certificate

1-4 years’ experience as a Commercial Lawyer (experience in property law a plus)

Demonstrated learning agility and commercial acumen

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Excellent research and analytical abilities

Strong ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across the business, teams, and leaders at Icon Group

Experience from a top tier private practice firm (desirable) and/or in-house experience desired
