The opportunity:
We have a wonderful opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy located within the Wesley Hospital, on a full-time 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with healthcare professionals, gain invaluable hospital experience, and deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations. The pharmacy operates from 7:30am – 8:00pm weekdays, and 7:30am – 5:00pm on weekends, with varying start times during those times. In this role, you’ll:

Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers

Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients

Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management

Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards  

Complete data entry of patient specific information into database

Assist with patient account enquiries

Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees

Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration

Preferred Requirements:

Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy

Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
