Employment Type: Full Time - Permanent

Join our growing Cloud Services Team as a Product Owner.

Reporting into the Cloud Director, you will be responsible in defining and delivering the roadmap for assigned cloud solutions, including products, services, platforms, and capabilities. You will be responsible to identify, document, prioritize and communicate the work that the Cloud and engineering teams will deliver based on business demands. This role will also be responsible for maintaining service descriptions, standards and specifications, and management of agreed service solutions and outcomes.

Our Cloud Services Division provides maintenance, support, and deployment of public cloud services to NSW Health. As part of this role, you will be collaborating with various teams across the business to ensure customer focussed service and delivery and the running of cloud platforms. As technology develops, it will be part of your role to drive the team and foster a culture of growth through continuous learning and improvements across our Cloud Services.

Health Manager Level 4 , commencing salary from $137,173.00-$163,431 + 11% Super and annual leave loading

What you will do

As an integral member of the Cloud Services Division, you will:

  • Develop product vision across Service Delivery, Cloud product roadmaps using product management and customer insights to ensure strategic alignment with organisational priorities
  • Contribute to developing the strategic vision to maximise customer and organisational value.
  • Develop and oversee product lifecycle operations using relevant governance framework.
  • Lead user story development and manage the product backlog.
  • Support the product team throughout the product lifecycle to deliver on requirements.
  • Partner with the customer and key stakeholders to effectively manage and deliver agreed benefits on Cloud Services products for maximum value and a positive impact for the customer and a return on investment.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Previous product owner experience in a large-scale, agile environment
  • Demonstrated experience and proven record managing a large and complex product lifecycle.
  • Strong presentation skills – road mapping
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – stakeholders of all levels.
  • A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
