The role:
The Psychologist delivers high quality, evidence-based Psychology services in child development, inpatients including rehabilitation and subacute medical wards, outpatient clinics and via telehealth as part of a rural generalist interprofessional team. You will deliver direct clinical services providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to the Psychology department.
You will contribute to the advancement of quality Psychology services and optimal patient care through advice for service development, quality improvement and evaluation, and clinical education, and work closely with our First Nations population.
Requirements?
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences, evidence of these will be required prior to appointment.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate, including criminal history checks.
VPD risk roles may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
