Our Frankston Clinic is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and qualified Radiation Therapist to join their dynamic team for a full-time, 12 month fixed term position.
More Specifically, you will
Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties
Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant GCC Centre and across the practice
Be responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures
Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner. Patient Care Awareness and the need for a patient focus at all times
Act in a professional manner at all times
Ensure established patient care standards are maintained
Be responsible for monitoring the condition of patients and responding to their needs
Treat all patients and their carers with respect and equality
Maintain confidentiality on all issues
Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services
Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy

Have demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
Have the ability to thrive in an effective team environment
Have strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
Have strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services Qualifications and Experience
Hold a bachelor’s degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy, Radiation Oncology Medical Physics, etc)
Hold Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA Other requirements of this role
Have demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement
Are able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships
Are able to demonstrate professional reliability, motivation, initiative and flexibility
