Registered nurse or nurse

We are a progressive and independent mixed billing GP clinic in Corrimal NSW. We seek a personable, kind and caring nurse to join our growing team.

We are looking to recruit an experienced General Practice Nurse.

• Previous experience in coordinating and reviewing Chronic Disease Management plans in a GP setting
• Passion and experience in supporting elderly patients in their health journey by undertaking Health Assessments.

• Experience using Best Practice Software.
• Strong work ethic and able to commit to permanent role within the clinic.
• Enthusiastic for continued learning and teaching.
• Strong communication skills including accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• The ability to cover annual leave and take on additional shifts as required is essential
• Current AHPRA registration, Police Clearance, CPR certificate, NSW child/vulnerable person clearance

Core skills:

• Health Assessment and Care Planning
• Wound care management
• Immunisation (children, adults), and knowledge cold chain storage and vaccine management
• ECG, spirometry, ear syringing, iron infusions.
• Assisting in minor surgery clinics and women’s contraceptive procedures
• It is expected that you will contribute to the recall system and development of our clinical protocols, working towards ongoing accreditation, and summation of medical records
• In addition, at busy times to help in other areas of the business such as reception/admin duties

About the practice:

Previous experience as a General Practice Nurse desirable.
