The 12-month program is open to both recently graduated nurses as well as experienced nurses seeking to change specialties or move from a non-acute setting to the acute hospital setting. The TSP program aims to develop clinical skills, support professional growth, and encourage reflective practice, in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Standards for Practice. The program offers opportunities in medical/surgical units and within the perioperative suite. Flexible work options are available to complete the program and include full time (5 days/week) and part-time (4 days/week). Additionally, ENs who will be commencing Bachelor of Nursing studies in 2025 are able to reduce hours further during semester dates to assist with study hours and clinical placement commitments. Your skills will include: Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice as a Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse. Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team. Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment. Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development.
