A temporary part time position commencing 22 July 2024 until 27 September 2024.

The role of SEL/Health Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.

Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.

Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.

Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.

Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

Flexibility to work for the greater good of the school agenda.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Wellbeing and Health.

Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K6.

The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
