Groundskeeping or Logistics Contractor

🏢 About the Role

Smart Suites manages 65+ short-stay properties across Brisbane’s southern suburbs. This role combines property maintenance, logistics coordination, and groundskeeping, ensuring our suites are consistently clean, functional, and guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Linen Operations (Core Focus):

1. Coordinate linen delivery, collection, and redistribution across multiple properties
2. Ensure timely restocking of clean linen and removal of used items
3. Transport and manage inventory supplies (toiletries, cleaning items, small equipment)
4. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to support daily operations

Property Maintenance:

1. Perform basic repairs (light bulbs, fixtures, minor fixes)
2. Assist with furniture moving, setup, and assembly
3. Conduct general checks to ensure properties are guest-ready and operational

Groundskeeping & Outdoor Work:

1. Lawn mowing, trimming, weed removal, and general garden upkeep
2. Maintain clean and presentable outdoor areas across properties
3. Support seasonal or ad-hoc outdoor maintenance tasks

Operational Support:

1. Manage bin placement, collection schedules, and cleanliness
2. Report completed tasks via Zoho / Microsoft Teams Approvals
3. Flag issues proactively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
4. 
   

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, working across multiple sites, and balancing logistics coordination with hands-on maintenance and outdoor work.

✅ What We’re Looking For

1. 1–3+ years’ experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, logistics, or similar hands-on work
2. Own transport and valid driver's license
3. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
4. Basic repair and lawn care skills
5. Reliable, punctual, and a clear communicator
6. ABN preferred (support available if needed)
7. Willingness to undergo a background check
