WHAT YOU'LL DO:

· Assist in day-to-day operation of the kitchen

· Ensure that the quality of breakfast food produced is consistent each day and is always of the highest standard.

· Produce food efficiently, economically, and hygienically for Guests and Team Members

· Be creative with daily breakfast specials, adapting for special occasions

· Operate lunch and functions food services

· Maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, according to recipes and standards

· Use all equipment, tools, and machines appropriately

· Look after the hot buffet at breakfast – ensuring freshness, quality, quantity, hygiene and presentation is exceptional.

· Work closely with the Stewarding department and all other kitchen staff

· Make sure that every guest feels cared for, valued and respected – every guest, every time.

WHAT WE'LL NEED FROM YOU:

• Friendly and hard-working with a passion for hospitality
• Commercial Cookery Certificate
• Experience in similar role
• Strong English communication
• Reliable and works well under pressure
• Skilled in time management and organization
• Ability to work in hot environments and stand on feet for long periods
• The availability to start immediately.
• Australian Working rights
• Current National Police Clearance
