Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. As Sydney's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms. About the Role: You will join and lead an energetic and passionate team of service ambassadors who are the face of Hyatt Regency Sydney. As a leader in our Front Office team, you will assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager in the smooth running of the hotel which has the largest room inventory in Australia. Our ideal candidate will possess:
  • A warm and caring attitude towards our Guests and Colleagues
  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager/Assistant Manager in a large international hotel
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster.
  • Work with the management team on trialing flexible working arrangement and rostering
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Experience with Opera PMS
  • Current first-aid qualification and NSW RSA
