The Role

Finding the right people for our studio is essential. We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team on a contract or fixed-term basis. In this role, you will design and create functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a diverse range of clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, needs, and budget
• Develop design concepts and plans that meet the client's requirements and expectations
• Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings of interior spaces
• Select and source materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories that align with the design concept and budget
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion
• Communicate design ideas and plans to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Conduct site visits to assess the space and ensure design plans are feasible and practical
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio of successful projects
• Proficiency in design software AutoCAD and SketchUp
• 2D Photoshop rendering experience will be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and materials
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
