The Role

As a Broker Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our brokers with all aspects of the mortgage process, from client communication to loan application processing.

• You will serve as a primary point of contact for our valued clients throughout the mortgage application process, ensuring exceptional communication and support every step of the way.

• You will liaise with clients to gather necessary information, craft comprehensive loan proposals for review by the broker, and facilitate the progression of applications through to the presentation stage with lenders.

• You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring clients have a seamless post-settlement experience, while also contributing to various day-to-day business operations.

• You'll have access to our latest systems, streamlined processes, and comprehensive training, supported by a wealth of resources to assist you at every step of your day.

About You

You're driven by motivation, excel in communication, and possess an exceptional eye for detail. You thrive in celebrating team achievements, yet you're equally adept at working independently under pressure to meet crucial deadlines. Your dedication revolves around achieving optimal outcomes for your clients, placing them at the center of your professional endeavours.

You deeply value the trust they place in you by delivering an outstanding experience and consistently exceeding expectations.

Your Experience:

• Minimum two years of lending or finance experience in home loans or commercial loans and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience

• Ability to provide exceptional client experiences

• Ability to assess and quote on a finance application

• Cert IV in Mortgage Broking.

• Previous compliance experience.

• You possess strong organizational skills and are adept at working within established timelines

• You have an impeccable attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of your work.

• You love number crunching and analytical aspects of broking or lending and contributing to overall success of the team

• You find satisfaction in following structured processes and derive enjoyment from completing each stage of the lending process, checking off boxes along the way.

• By embracing technology in business, you pick up new systems easily with the appropriate amount of training.

• You take the job seriously but not yourself seriously. We also like to have a laugh and believe that if you are going to work then you may as well enjoy it!
