Job Description



As a Civil Engineer within our Urban Development division, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects. With a strong portfolio of projects in hand, as well as a significant project pipeline we are looking for a skilled civil engineer with technical competency in design to complete our team.

You will be responsible for

  • Provide design advice to clients and service authorities.
  • Contribute to detailed design plans whilst working closely with drafters and project managers.
  • Coordinate the production and revision of Engineering designs by liaising with internal Design teams.
  • Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopments.
  • Prepare project deliverables, tender documentation, design documentation and specifications in line with Egis’ standards to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
  • Assume responsibility for project planning and management of resources for small projects or parts of larger projects.
  • Prepare relevant servicing and development reports.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Competent in 12D and AutoCAD
  • Ideally, 3-5 years’ experience within a similar consultancy environment
  • A thorough understanding of civil engineering and design principles
  • An understanding of the land development process with experience in Greenfield/Brownfield Subdivision projects
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities
