About the Role:
We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer specialising in Water Resources on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities and activities include:
● Development of monitoring and management plans
● Contribute to a range of hydrology and flood modelling projects
● Contribute to surface water assessments as part of environmental impact studies
● Catchment modelling and water balance modelling (GoldSim)
● Conduct hydrologic studies and hydraulic modelling to support project objectives
● Data analysis and interpretation
● Interpretation and application of guidelines, legislation, and policy relating to water management
● Preparation of scientific and technical reports
● Project management and proposal preparation
● Previous fieldwork experience preferred
● Travel and site work required
Knowledge, Experience and Skill requirements include:
● Be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to prioritize tasks, work autonomously and contribute to a positive team culture both in the local office and for ATC Williams more broadly
● Possess a degree in Civil Engineering
● Have 4-6 years’ experience in hydrology modelling, hydraulic design, and fluid dynamics.
● Strong understanding of dams and tailings management principles.
● Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
● Have prior experience in environmental data analysis and hydrological modelling.
● Strong experience with a range of hydrology and water resource modelling packages such as GOLDSIM, QGIS, FLOW-3D and FLO-2D
● Prior experience in water management and water quality assessments
