Principal HR Advisor 6 month initial contract Brisbane CBD location 2 roles available Eden Ritchie are looking for 2 Principal HR Advisors to join a dynamic team and provide expert guidance and leadership in managing complex workforce relations issues. As a Principal HR Advisor , you will be a pivotal member of the Case Management Team, providing expert advice, leadership, and support on complex workforce relations issues to executives, senior managers, and clients of the Department. Your role will involve offering authoritative consultancy services, particularly in the management of intricate employee cases. You will be responsible for advising on and facilitating investigations and reviews into a range of sensitive employee relations matters, working collaboratively with the HR Network to develop and implement effective strategies for timely resolution. Additionally, you will provide strategic policy advice on disciplinary procedures, including dismissals, grievances, under-performance, absenteeism management, and Code of Conduct. Your excellent written communication skills will be crucial, as you will be preparing high-level correspondence, briefing materials, and reports for senior stakeholders, including the Minister, Director-General, and the Executive Leadership Team, on workforce relations issues. Developing and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders will also be a key aspect of your role, enabling you to influence HR outcomes for the Division positively. We are looking for a candidate who: Has a solid understanding of the Public Sector Act 2022 and legislative frameworks within the public sector. Possesses strong written communication skills and experience in writing discipline correspondence and preparing correspondence for internal and external parties. Can provide strategic HR advice on various topics related to performance management, medical management, employee grievances, etc. Has experience in managing end-to-end investigation processes with external providers and analysing investigation reports.
