Job no: 504055
Work type: Ongoing Full Time
Location: Various
Categories: Leadership, Human Resources
The ABC is Australia’s most trusted, valued and awarded independent source of Australian conversations, culture, and stories. With over 4,000 employees from diverse backgrounds across over 60 locations around Australia and overseas, it is proud to create, curate and deliver high-quality content that informs, educates, and entertains Australian communities.
Reporting to the Head of HR, Business Partnerships and working closely with the newly appointed CPO as part of a collaborative P&C leadership team, this role leads a small team of BPs and advisors to effectively build HR strategy, deliver advice, and implement programs for their client divisions. With the support of C of Es, the remit covers workforce planning, ER/IR, development and succession, and diversity and inclusion. As the organisation undertakes a large change agenda, covering culture, digitisation, systems implementation, and various programs, this is an important opportunity to support business leaders and build the required capability to take the organisation on this journey.
To be successful in the role, you will be able to balance the demands of strategy development, providing trusted advice to the leadership of the business, and getting “hands on” in the operational requirements. Leveraging your established HR business partnering experience in delivering major change programs in a large, complex organisation, you will quickly build trusted relationships with business leaders, effectively influence and challenge, and offer pragmatic solutions as you navigate the uncertainties of change within industrial frameworks and existing operational methods. As a capable team leader, you will look to draw on individual’s strengths and build their capability to deal with a broad range of issues.
Your leadership, strategic insight, and hands-on approach will make a significant impact as you lead a capable team through an exciting period of transformation.
The ABC strives to promote an inclusive culture of opportunity and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. The Next Step recruitment agency is advising the ABC with this appointment and if you want to apply, request more information, or discuss any accessibility requirements, please contact Julie Amato on 02 8256 2572 or apply through the link below.
