Take on big challenges and grow, through mentorship, collaboration and empowerment.Thiess is the place to make things happen.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisorto provide advice, administrative coordination and operational support to the project and wider HR team at Pembroke Resource’s project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.This role has the flexibility to be either FIFO from Brisbane, or DIDO for anyone living locally.Pembroke Resource’s Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres south-east of Moranbah which commenced mining operations in mid-2023.Thiess has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver full service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management and rehabilitation as well as construction of the mine infrastructure.Working a site based, 5/2, 4/3 roster and reporting to the project HR Manager, your duties will include:Support the delivery of all aspects of the HR plan for the projectPartner with key stakeholder groups to manage employee absenteeism, performance and misconduct mattersProvide advice and support on policies and procedures, systems, reporting, recruitment, industrial relations, disputes and dismissalsBe involved in initiatives to enhance workplace culture and brandingSupport the site diversity and inclusion initiativesAbout YouThis role is for someone who has the skills to influence at all levels, and the ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives.
