We have an experienced leadership team and are committed to providing employment opportunities in Bowen for suitable candidates.Bowen Rail Company is growing its Human Resources team. We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our team in Bowen. In this role, you will bring deep generalist experience from working across the breadth of HR disciplines and provide specialist support into strategic and operational HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Along with the ability to provide generalist HR support, the HR Specialist brings a HR-leading practice mindset to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, policy/procedure development, and continuous improvement initiatives including the ongoing optimisation of payroll / HR systems, compliance, and governance. Key Accountabilities: Support generalist HR duties as required, specifically in key areas of partnering and coaching on performance management and disciplinary matters. Supports the HR team with the implementation of operational change management initiatives, including but not limited to, organisation structure changes, culture enhancement initiatives (including reward and recognition), and operational changes that require HR partnering.Works with the HR team to support the development/implementation of key organisational development initiatives including employment branding, workforce planning, succession, and talent management frameworks. Works with the HR and training teams to develop HR-related training modules and packages.
