Job Description - Human Resource Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives. The Human Resource Manager will also be responsible for managing the recruitment, training, and development of employees, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Coordinate induction process for all new starters
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback
  • Deliver weekly and monthly People and Culture Reports
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Administer employee benefits programs incl. issuing birthday and work anniversary vouchers
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews
  • Manage the employee rewards and recognition program
  • Company intranet management including features such as employee reimbursement submissions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers
  • Maintain the company HR Program, Employment Hero and it's features such as the Employee Asset Register
  • Regular catch ups with middle management Leads to assist with initiatives and any arising employee feedback/issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources management
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
