About Your Role:

As a HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all HR-related activities within our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace environment.

Duties may include:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and NDIS requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.
• Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate training sessions and workshops for staff members.
• Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
• Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve staff retention and reduce turnover rates.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct investigations into workplace complaints, grievances, or conflicts as required.
• Ensure all investigations are conducted in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in performance
• Assist in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
• Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, and interviewing.
• Develop recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage WorkCover claims and liaise with insurers and medical professionals as required.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and standards.
• Coordinate injury management processes and facilitate return-to-work programs for employees.
• Support employees throughout the rehabilitation process and ensure compliance with return-to-work plans.

You will be/have:

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the disability sector or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of NDIS regulations and requirements.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
