To support our business expansion in the SEA region, we are actively seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Business Operations, HR & Admin in handling our day-to-day HR functions. He / She must have strong in-depth knowledge of all people matters and is a subject matter expert in a variety of Human Resource related topics for the SEA countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of local law and policy to provide the necessary advisory on people matters.
- Handle full spectrum of HR duties, including but not limited to : talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition, employee relations, employment law compliance and employee engagement, HR budgeting, etc.
- Manage essential day-to-day HR operational support for all employees in the region, including partnering with outsourced payroll services provider for timely and accurate payroll process, external vendor for local work permit and legal counsel for in-country employment and government related process.
- Execute HR Operations to ensure all processes are delivered in compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations.
- Review and maintain employee handbook and HR policies in line with employment legislations and statutory requirements in SEA Region.
- Ensure reports and analyses required for internal and external purposes are prepared timely.
- Be the employees’ point of contact for all people matters in SEA and ensure all HR requests are well-handled.
- Manage office and administrative matters.
- Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field of study.
- Well versed in the Employment Act, government statutory requirements, HR practices and procedures
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience gained from MNC with at least 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management.;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skill and ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point;
- A good team player who is independent and self-driven personality;
- Good command (both oral and written) of English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and highly adaptable;
- Willing to be hands-on with a ‘can-do’ attitude;
- Good liaison and negotiation skills;
- Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
