Job Description - HR Project Consultant

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Duration: Fixed term until 31 December 2025
  • Remuneration: $118k- 133k + 17% Super & leave loading
  • Location: Kensington, NSW (On-campus role, hybrid work arrangement available)

This role is based in HR Office Team, within the Operations Division at UNSW. Why Your Role Matters:
    As HR Project Consultant, you will play an important role within a multidisciplinary compliance program. Engaged across a broad range of activities, you will build strong and effective professional networks and engage and collaborate across the program as well as with SMEs and senior leaders to support the delivery of strategic and operational compliance objectives.

    Working collaboratively with the Project Team, you will investigate and gather insights into work practices and data. Offering a holistic interpretation, you will review and present recommendations across areas such as remediation activities, advising on changes to work practices where appropriate.

    Reporting into the Compliance Stream Lead, you will drive the review in line with project objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all stakeholder engagement and quality assurance.
    • Conduct fact finding interviews to validate information.
    • Develop project planning documentation.
    • Obtain, analyse and evaluate documentation (reports, flowcharts, payroll data).
    • Identify problems or errors and propose possible solutions.
    • Assess compliance of UNSWs obligations to the Enterprise Agreements.
    • General project activities to support objectives.

    Who You Are:

    • A relevant degree coupled with Human Resources experience.
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
    • The ability to deal with sensitive matters with discretion.
    • Experience working with the enterprise agreement beneficial.
    • Excellent time management skills and able to respond to changing priorities.
