Job Description - Human resources assistant

At People Power Consulting, we're the powerhouse behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly so our clients can focus on what they do best. We're searching for an Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for anyone starting their HR career.

Position Overview:

This role is all about keeping things ticking along like clockwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of HR administrative tasks, primarily focusing on maintaining and updating employee records, data entry, client queries, recruitment and providing general support to the team. The position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General HR administration tasks and provide support to the HR team.
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of information.
  • Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, redirecting inquiries as necessary.
  • 360 Recruitment including but not limited to posting ads, applicant screening, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Answer incoming calls, taking messages and forwarding calls as required.
  • Potential to assist with payroll administration and processing if interested.

Requirements:

  • Completed or working towards a HR qualification would be a plus.
  • Hospitality experience (preferred).
  • Administration experience (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you're a pro at crafting clear and professional emails.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Available to work 4 or 5 days. (Flexibility is available regarding working hours)

This position requires working in the office. Remote work options are not available.
