Job Description - Human Resources Coordinator

Supporting an employee base of approximately 200, this newly created opportunity within our collaborative People, Capability & Culture - HR team will see you responsible for providing recruitment and HR administrative support across the entire employee life cycle.

Examples of key tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting recruitment activities, including drafting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks and all other recruitment-related administration.
  • Employee lifecycle administration activities from onboarding, employee transfers, training & development, through to offboarding.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of HR/OHS policies, guidelines and templates.
  • Supporting the implementation of HR/OHS initiatives and programs.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team.
  • Driving company-wide social events.
  • Participating in the development and delivery of P&C projects and initiatives as required, including supporting the implementation of our HRIS.

About you

This role is ideally suited to an experienced mid-level HR generalist with some recruitment experience looking to further develop their HR career.

  • 5+ years experience working in a similar generalist HR Coordinator role.
  • Ideally, a degree or diploma in Human Resources or a relevant field.
  • In-depth understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret legislation, regulations and awards.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Well-developed communication skills and, professional telephone manner, coupled with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • A positive, friendly team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to also work autonomously.
  • Previous experience supporting the end-to-end recruitment process would be highly desirable.
