About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Social Work services within the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Outpatients Department within the QEII Jubilee Hospital.

This includes:

• Delivering high quality evidenced based Social Work clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
• Contribution to the advancement of quality Social Work services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
• Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
• Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
