The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is committed to promoting biodiversity and conservation to enrich people’s lives, through sustainable management of Western Australia’s species, ecosystems, lands and the attractions in the department’s care.

About the role

Undertakes a range of human resource functions, including the implementation of people management projects and equity and diversity initiatives.

  1. Demonstrated experience in providing a broad range of administrative support, including the ability to learn and perform data entry in corporate management systems (e.g., Human Resources Management Information System).
  2. Demonstrated ability to undertake and assist with projects, programs and/or event management.
  3. Ability to communicate and connect with others verbally and in writing.
  4. Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
  5. Ongoing willingness and ability to participate in fire management activities that contribute to bushfire suppression and prescribed burning operations commensurate with capability, capacity, training and level of experience (DESIRABLE).
