Application Support Analyst

The GIG:

TIG Freight is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join the Engineering team.

We are working on the future of Freight Management Systems and Billing Platforms to revolutionize the logistics industry.

The Application Support Analyst will provide second level support for TIG Freight’s production systems.

What you'll do:

• Manage critical incidents with production systems providing regular communication with business stakeholders;

• Manage support ticket queues and priorities;

• Troubleshoot and debug issues with production systems;

• Work with freight carriers to trouble issues with data interchange;

• Update code in our systems to meet the business needs;

• Ensure tickets updates are maintained and closed when required;

What you'll bring:

• Masters of Information Technology and a minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar Application Support role within a commercial environment;

• Advanced experience with PHP and related PHP frameworks;

• Advanced experience with mySQL;

• Advanced experience with Freight Management systems (FMS);

• Advanced experience with Freight or logistics platforms and carrier integration;

• Advanced experience with ZPL printer coding language.

• Intermediate experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud providers;

• Intermediate experience with JavaScript, similar web development language;

• Intermediate experience with with REST, SOAP, WebAPI, XML, JSON;
