CNC Machinist

Your new company

Founded in 1992, this company is a privately owned Australian company, specialising in the manufacture and supply of mineral processing products, customised polyurethane parts, drilling consumables and air decking/stemming products (open-cut and underground) for the mining and drilling industries. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in Carole Park.

Your new role

• Operate and troubleshoot CNC Machines, Lathes, and Mills
• Assisting with innovating processes to improve efficiency
• Basic mechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Working as part of a team to ensure production deadlines are met
• Working within tight deadlines to complete joinery projects

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced at operating CNC machinery (minimum 2 years). A high attention to detail and to continually work to reduce any mistakes resulting in material wastage is essential. You will be a team player working towards targets and deadlines while also having the ability to work autonomously.
