Greenlines Gardenware founded and designed the original FormBoss garden edging system in Australia and has now supplied the superior edging systems to thousands of happy customers, in fact, we’ve sold over 1000kms of FormBoss® edging! Some projects boast several kilometres of metal garden edging alone.
The opportunity
Based in Croydon, we are looking for an individual to work within the production team to ensure that the operation of computer aided or mechanical equipment in the manufacture of products is carried out safely and efficiently, and conform to customers’ requirements, quality and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- performing pre start and routine operational checks of assigned machine by identifying malfunctions and faults and taking appropriate action.
- reviewing product order documentation to determine required production outcomes, identifying product specifications and changing tooling as required.
- monitoring Break Press, Guillotine and Laser operation and performance, recognising basic product deviations and faults, undertaking periodical checks to ensure product specifications and quality standards are maintained, safely unload output and performing packaging and labelling and complete workplace records.
- reviewing order request and consignment documentation, secure product orders and place in storage or despatch zones, in accordance with despatch schedule, determine transportation requirements and delivery routes as required and complete workplace records.
- handling of equipment to safely select, pick and manoeuvre product, appropriately package to minimise loss and damage in transit or storage and apply labels in accordance with company procedures.
- recording and reporting any plant or equipment maintenance requirements to ensure they continue to operate efficiently and disruption to production schedules is minimised.
- maintaining clean and tidy designated work areas to optimise production, ensure sufficient space for storage, enable safe movement of plant, equipment and people throughout the workplace and personal hygiene.
In addition, you will:
- contribute to specialised projects, process improvement and other initiatives including technology solutions and enhanced reporting requirements

Qualifications
- Certificate II in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Forklift license is required.
Skills
To be successful in this role you:
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience
- Prior experience in warehousing logistics using plant and equipment in an FMCG, horticulture environment advantageous.
- Experience with contemporary cloud-based business and inventory management tools such as Unleashed and Salesforce would be advantageous.
