IPA represents a large chemical manufacturer based in Laverton North. As a leader in their field, we are looking to build upon their existing team, therefore a Temporary - ongoing assignment has become available for a Logistics Administrator to commence immediately.
The Logistics Administration role is to support the Domestic and International Logistics functions by completing required administration tasks to support operation and the management team.
This role will be part of wider Logistics Administration team with varied roles (as per below) supporting the wider logistics.
- Collating and cross-referencing invoices for accuracy ready for authorization
- Working with the pallet companies on pallet reconciliation
- Carrer Management - Liasing with and booking carrier for transport requirements.
- Order Management - Collating and issuing orders for picking for the operation team.
- Logistic Customer Service - Liasing with Customer service and processing changes and enquires.
- KPIs- Completing KPI spread sheets and sending to management team.
- International Logistics - Organizing paperwork to send to freight providers for import and export.
- Dispatch Management
- Distribution Route Planning - Load Consolidation into local routes for delivery drivers.
Experience and Qualifications
- Passion and Drive to Continually
- Logistics and Warehouse experience (preferred)
- Admin Skills
- Import and Export Experience (preferred)
- Experience with Emailing systems and Microsoft Systems
- Excel Systems - Must
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Country Australia is an advantage.
