The Opportunity

Thermotek Windows & Doors have an exciting opportunity for a Material Planner / Purchasing professional to join our growing team in Dandenong South, Melbourne.

Experiencing strong strategic growth, the Operations team is looking for an experienced Material Planning / Purchasing Officer looking to expand there horisons in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.

We are growing rapidly and change is part of the culture at Thermotek Windows. You will be joining our team at a pivotal stage as we start to embark on our journey towards best in class with regards to Material Planning, Logistics/Inventory Management and Purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to company standards and policies
  • Ensure parts are made available to the Production team in full, on time and in specification
  • Raise purchase orders to suppliers
  • Manager supplier performance
  • Provide timely and accurate advise to suppliers
  • Work closely with suppliers to prevent part shortages and/or delays
  • Proactive approach to inventory control
  • Assist with the coordination and management of the data integrity, stock integrity and inventory management
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and provide recommendations to management
  • A large part of this role is improving, implementing and taking ownership of the systems and processes
  • Ensure system integrity; working closely with our estimations/systems team
  • Adhoc administration tasks as required

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
