The Company:This boutique events agency who pride themselves on their talented staff and show-stopping events & activations are looking for a new Production Coordinator to join their small team. The agency works on a range of events, promotions, exhibitions and activations.The Role:The Production Coordinator role will report directly to a Producer for day-to-day, working across a range of clients assigned to them as a pair. The role will work across a wide range of environments including outdoor spaces. shopping centres, festivals, licensed venues, exhibitions and conventions.Key Areas of Development include;

  • Development of Production understanding; including where to go to get things everything from merchandise, to costuming, to exhibition construction, to influencers boxes, as well as different types of production processes.
  • Development of Supplier Management understanding; including managing preferred supplier relationships and what is available to you for events.
  • Development of Contract understanding and IP Matters; including NDA's, client IP, and event and festival contracts.
  • Development of Logistics Management understanding; including how things transport, how to book transport, timelines, and how things are packed.
  • Development of visual merchandising and event environments/installations; including stakeholder management
  • Development of organisational skills
  • Development of team working skills
  • Development of client/category understanding
The Candidate:This role is ideal for someone not afraid of physical work, with a passion for events and problem solving. There is a lot of "learning on the job" with this role, however the Production Coordinator candidate will require some basic skills:

  • Proficient in Office365 – Outlook, Excel, PPT, Teams.
  • Working with Children Check – or prepared to get one
  • Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – or prepared to get one
  • Current Australian Driver’s license
  • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator design program experience a benefit
  • The agency uses Apple products and software – must be proficient / experienced
  • Ability to work effectively from home, but travel for work when required – client meetings, warehouse, interstate from time to time for events.
