Each year, we produce a variety of fun and unique events mostly in Sydney but also around Australia, so there's always something cool we're working towards here.
Our office in the Rocks is designed like a comfy home and has a good vibe. Team spirit is very important here and we are a bunch of enthusiastic individuals, with one common goal, delivering the best and working hard to achieve our goals. If you are after a 9 to 5 job, we work in events, so it’s not the reality of our industry. Saying that, the job comes with big perks to compensate for the extra hours you would have to put in from time to time.
Job description
We are looking for an event manager to oversee and organise events (large festivals, Outdoor Cinema events and brand activations). You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
An event manager is, above all, a project manager. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with top organisational skills, a can-do attitude, good back-up plans and logistical skills. Be smart, be fun, be unique.
Responsibilities
Plan event from start to finish
Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Coordinate operations and contractors.
Look after required documents (Event management plans)
Step up to resolve any problems that might occur
Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports
Requirements
5+ years proven experience as event manager
Skilled in project management and logistics
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Top organisational skills
A knack for problem-solving
A team player with leadership skills
Experience in events, Festivals and outdoor activations.

French speaker (and other languages)

Salary / Contract
Full-time - permanent contract.
$65 to $85K + Super depending on candidate.
