The Role

The Senior Branch Manager reports to the State Manager QLD. You will be responsible for the preparation, delivery, collection and maintenance of the company's fleet of motor vehicles, and for the management of Branches and staff throughout QLD.

You will lead a committed team in all aspects of People and WHS and Logistics management. This is a hands-on role in the planning of delivery and collection in a fast-paced changing environment. You will be keen to make improvements and have the confidence to find areas to increase performance in regard to cost efficiency, customer service, and staff engagement.

The Ideal person:

You will have strong team leadership skills, quality assurance, change management skills a practical knowledge of health and safety.

You will have a logistics mindset and the ability to hit the ground running. In leading the team you will be open to feedback as you live our company value of continuous improvement. You will lead the way in the implementation of logistic goals and action plans, directly tied to measurable results and timely and consistent execution. All this in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine interest in cars, and not afraid of rolling up your sleeves.

Your skills and experience:

• provide training and support to the team
• drive efficiencies through the rollout of strategic and innovative plans
• understand location needs using sales/hire reports and assessing departmental results, to create specific actions directly related to business development and growth, consistently across all allocated locations.
• A background in the car rental industry is highly beneficial.
• An understanding of logistics within the motor trade, including spare parts/smash repair/dealerships would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
