Technical & Design Consultant

Our Fast Tread stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems now feature in over 4,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally.

We are now seeking for a full-time Technical & Design Consultant to join our team in Goulburn.

Job Overview

Coordination of the Production, Review & Approval of Fast Tread Stair Flight & other associated product Shop Drawings.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Initiation and Set Up of Projects.
• Production of project specific Shop Drawing Packages which includes but not limited to the following:

- Scheduling of Stair Flights from parameters obtained from Architectural & Structural Drawings

- Stair Flight, Landing & Beam Shop Drawings in BricsCAD

- Compliance Mark-up of Architectural drawings

- Marking Plans

- Structural Mark-up

- Submission of the Shop Drawing Packages to clients.

• Liaise with Clients, Architects, Engineers & other consultants throughout the review process to obtain approval of the shop drawings prior to manufacture.
• Liaise with the relevant Production, Logistics and Factory Team members to ensure the product is manufactured correctly and in accordance with approved shop drawings and client requirements.
• Thorough archiving of project specific documents and correspondence.

Qualifications & Experience required

• Experience in the Construction/Steel Fabrication Industry
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Ability to read & interpret Architectural & Structural drawings.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including:

- Excel

- Outlook

- Access

- Word
