Transport Company Manager

Position Overview: The Transport Company Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations related to incoming and outgoing flights to and from Perth International Airport on behalf of Philippine Airlines. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in the aviation industry and a thorough understanding of airport operations. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and seamless coordination of ground transportation services, passenger handling, cargo logistics, and other operational aspects to uphold Philippine Airlines' standards of excellence and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Flight Operations Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of incoming and outgoing flights, including scheduling, ground handling, aircraft servicing, and crew management to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.

2. Ground Transportation Services: Oversee the provision of ground transportation services for passengers and crew, including shuttle services, ground transfers, and vehicle logistics, to ensure a smooth transition between the airport and other destinations.

3. Cargo Logistics: Supervise cargo handling operations, including loading and unloading of cargo, storage, and customs clearance, to ensure timely and secure delivery of goods in compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all operational activities, including aircraft handling, passenger services, and cargo operations.

5. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to optimize operational efficiency and minimize costs while maintaining service quality.

6. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with airport authorities, government agencies, service providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate operational activities, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.

7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and prepare regular reports for management review.

8. Emergency Response and Contingency Planning: Develop and implement contingency plans and procedures to address emergencies, disruptions, or unexpected events affecting flight operations or airport services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree

• Proven experience in airline or airport operations management, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.

• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, airport operations, and industry best practices.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications relevant to aviation operations management.

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.

The Transport Company Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Philippine Airlines' flights to and from Perth International Airport. Salary : $110,000 - $120,000 plus super
