Automation project engineer

Automation Project Engineer (Consultancy) Concept Engineering to Delivery Sydney or Melbourne Do you have industrial automation sector experience in data analysis, solutions concepting and/or systems validation? With rapidly growing workload, they have now created a new role for an Automation Project Engineer to join the team. Reporting directly to the Project Director, the new team member will support the business through the successful delivery of a wide range of engineering activities through a highly varied role with inputs with a key focus on:

• AutoCAD/Revit Modeling: You'll create detailed drawings and renderings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse project data to drive informed decisions.
• System Design Validation: Validate system designs through static, material flow, and dynamic 3D simulations.
• Project Support: Collaborate closely with project leaders and assist with project execution including technical oversight, commissioning supervision, timeline management and risk support.
  

About you: You have vendor-side or consultancy experience in industrial automation (BHS / intralogisitcs / manufacturing systems) and are degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics (or similar) or qualified by experience. You have strong AutoCAD experience and a track record in data analysis, project engineering or solutions design/concepting and are/have:

• Ambitious and keen to develop your professional skills
• Strong financial acumen and high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable experience in collaborating with internal teams
• Comfortable presenting to and dealing with client-side stakeholders
• A desire to progress your career in a consultancy environment.
