IT Specialist

Our Client Our client is a leading global manufacturer and provider of colorant technology solutions where they are renowned for not only servicing a customer base across six continents, but also for their commitment to sustainability, occupational health and safety, quality and innovation. An excellent opportunity has now become available for an experienced IT Systems Administrator Asia Pacific where you will initially commence in a temporary capacity with a view to permanency and be responsible for the ongoing development and infrastructure maintenance of our client's IT systems and processes. The Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller Asia Pacific, the role of IT Systems Administrator will provide ongoing support across the Asia Pacific Region where you must be flexible with working around different time zones should the need arises. Other duties include:

• Plan, direct and control IT activities for the Asia Pacific Region
• Act as a central management point as systems advisor to all company personnel
• Provide helpdesk support for all IT systems including SAP, Outlook, LAN / WAN Communications, CCTV, SharePoint and Remote Access
• Monitor, maintain, repair and replacement of items such as network switches, Wi-Fi access points, PCs, scanners, printers and items as required
• Control the security and backup of information systems
• Liaise with the US IT Team and other 3rd party IT providers across the Asia Pacific Region
• End to end set up of new users / employers on email, SAP, SharePoint

Qualifications and Experience The successful applicant will not only be able to undertake the above duties but also be confident in working independently whilst handling all IT issues / projects on their own. In addition we require:

• Outstanding written and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in the management of IT infrastructure
• Tertiary qualification in a computer related discipline
• Extensive experience in customer service where a significant amount of your time will be liaising with staff members
• High level of computer literacy skills in WLAN, LAN, Windows 2008 network operating system, MS OS 365 Site administration, SAP R/3 experience

The Offer Initially you will commence in a temporary arrangement where you will be paid a casual hourly rate plus superannuation with the view to transition to a permanent position within a short time frame.
