Our client is a leading global supplier of paints and coatings, and at their Tullamarine facility they specialise in manufacturing coatings & sealants for the aerospace industry.



ABOUT THE ROLE

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working within the team at Tullamarine and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation, blending and packaging of the paints and sealants.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Preparing colours for blending and packaging
• Measuring ingredient amounts into vats, vessels, or cans for blending
• Blending materials at the correct speed for an appropriate amount of time based on formulation
• Evaluating the colour difference by visual and numerical values
• Packaging the product based on internal and external requirements
• Cleaning all equipment used to process products and keep area neat
• Ensuring traceability and track measurements by recording information on work orders.
• You will use and wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
• You will use best practice philosophies to provide a clean, safe, and organised working environment

ABOUT YOU

• Factory/Manufacturing Production/Machinery experience (eg Food/Chemical industries)
• Keen to learn colour formulation, correction - WILL TRAIN
• Paint manufacturing and colour matching experience is beneficial but NOT mandatory
