Manufacturing Accountant

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be leading the finance team to drive value across the business through accurate and insightful analytics. This role is diverse in nature and will provide exposure to a range of commercial, financial and operational issues across the Padman Group.

About the role:

• Fast paced environment working across multiple entities within a group of companies.
• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Capex budgeting and reporting
• Working closely with Operations Management to provide and analyse operational and financial performance, driving efficiency across the group.
• Annual P&L and cashflow budgets
• Analytical analysis
• Support and assistance with project work and improvements
• Prepare detailed manufacturing variance analysis and interpret findings
• Actively participate in and track Continuous Improvement projects for each plant.
• Inventory management: Stock take and stock variance analysis and reporting

Are you the right fit:

• Team player
• Strong appetite for continual improvement and accuracy
• Financial or management accounting experience preferably with Manufacturing or Supply chain industries, highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing process related to accounting, familiarity with raw materials conversion, COGS and inventory
• CA/CPA qualified
• ERP experience essential
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge essential
• Experience with SAP and ODOO or large mainframe systems
• Exposure to process improvement and change management
• Good analytical skills with high level of excel proficiency.
• Strong Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• 5+ years’ experience
