Packaging Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Team Leader to join our Team.

The Packaging Team Leader is a key person in the manufacturing facility and is responsible for providing the structure and discipline to the factory’s Packaging operations and is focused on achieving high levels of productivity and efficiency within a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Role:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Packaging Team Leader’s primary focus is to:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Packaging team focusing on safety, quality packaging, productivity, efficiency whilst avoiding damage to stock
• Provide strong leadership and management to all Packaging employees including coaching, training and assisting with performance management issues as required
• Focus on training of new and existing team members on standard operating procedures and seek continuous improvement in productivity and processes
• Improve efficiency and reduce potential damage to product through training, collaboration with team members and accountability to standard operating procedures
• Promote teamwork between the manufacturing departments to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
• Promote a harmonious environment with the Q1 Team Leaders to foster a positive and can-do approach to servicing the needs of Oxworks customers above the needs of a single department
• Achieve 100% DIFOT whilst minimising unnecessary reworks
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in the area of Safety
• Ensure Packaging is compliant with Company policies and procedures at all times
• Implement and execute directives that support the business strategy
