Support Vehicles Australia Pty Ltd (SVA) is a leading Design and Manufacture organisation supplying bespoke heavy equipment to key clients primarily in the Mining Industry within Western Australia.

An opportunity is available for an experienced, trade qualified FABRICATOR / PIPEFITTER to join our Workshop in a permanent full-time capacity at our BASSENDEAN facility. The successful candidate will enjoy secure employment with a respected organization that produces high-quality products working on new equipment projects.

Reporting to the fabrication supervisor, you will be critical to the manufacture and testing of pipework and assemblies for new equipment.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in interpreting drawings
• Desire to learn, take direction and follow process
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• Good time management skills
• Positive attitude toward safety, quality and housekeeping

A 3G Weld Test will be required at interview.

Tickets/Certifications:

• FABRICATION TRADE CERTIFICATE
• Confined space ticket
• Working at heights ticket
• Forklift license
• Overhead Crane / Dogging

Pay rate from $48-$50 per hour depending on qualification and experience.
