Process Engineer

• Design, implement and manage machinery upgrades, modifications and replacements.
• Manage projects from inception to completion including cost benefit analysis, design review, risk management, budget control, contractor management, implementation and commissioning of new components and machinery through Capital Expenditure works.
• Ensure equipment designs and processes comply with relevant standards, regulations and policies.
• Assist maintenance/contract personnel to install and commission new and diagnose existing equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support manufacturing teams to improve productivity & quality.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage new product introduction within Operations by collaborating with R&D, preparing the factory infrastructure and establishing the new processes required to manufacturer a new product range.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Proven AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS competency.
• Practical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process optimization methodologies, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
